It is probably Berlin’s first open-air cinema event of the year – and undoubtedly the one with the most superheroes! When the spring cinema season gets under way at the Kranzler Eck Berlin on 28 April 2023, your friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man is the first one to put in an appearance: Peter Parker (Tom Holland) takes on the evil forces in Spider-Man: No Way Home. And the excitement of the first evening continues all the way through to 7 May – with heroes big and small, including the ghost hunters in Ghostbusters: Afterlife, the animated figures in Around the World in 80 Days and the daredevils in Jackass Forever. And when the bat logo lights up the sky above the Kranzler Eck Berlin, the eponymous superhero must solve a mysterious series of murders in Gotham City in The Batman … with such a varied programme, there is sure to be something to suit everyone.
All films start at 8 p.m. (admission and opening programme at 7 p.m.). As always, entry is free. The entertaining cinema evening could be the perfect way to round off dinner at a restaurant and a spot of spring shopping at the Kranzler Eck Berlin. Anyone hunting down the latest fashion trends and top labels can relax here and slump in one of the 200 deckchairs – like a real shopping hero!
