When Christmas music and the scent of mulled wine and apple punch are in the air at the Kranzler Eck Berlin, it can only mean one thing: the winter lounge is back … It is the third outing for what is probably Berlin’s only charity Christmas market and charitable organisations can once again set up their stalls free of charge from 2 to 4 December between 1 and 8 p.m., collect donations, generate income for their good causes by selling handmade or sustainably produced articles and present their projects.
New for 2022 is the 16 x 10-metre ice rink for young and old alike. The environmentally friendly synthetic ice rink with skate rental and the mulled wine stand will then remain open until 23 December every Thursday to Saturday and on the Sunday trading day (18 December 2022) from 2 to 7 p.m., while top brands and boutique labels invite you to do a spot of Christmas shopping and cosy cafés and restaurants offer their guests a break from the hustle and bustle and serve the odd refreshment.
