The first construction phase at Kranzler Eck in Berlin, primarily consisting of the conversion and development of a new Superdry store,is nearing completion. British fashion chain Superdry will be opening its biggest store in the world, covering an area of 3,800 square metres, in the Kranzler Eck on 4 December. The new Café Kranzler, run by Berlin coffee roaster The Barn will also be opening its doors for the first time since redevelopment. Both tourists and Berliners will soon be able to enjoy the historic rooms of Café Kranzler with its rotunda, sun deck and roof terrace once more. Superdry and The Barn are planning a whole range of different events to celebrate the opening week from 4 to 10 December, and the Kranzler Eck will also be joining in. On 4,8, 9 and 10 December, visitors can treat themselves to “muffles” – a mix between muffins and waffles filled with a Black Forest cake cream, inspired by the world-famous Black Forest gateau served in the original Café Kranzler. The muffle stand will be located in the passageway between Joachimsthaler Strasse and the courtyard.
