Following a welcome by the host on the terrace of the Lindner Hotel, Friedhelm Julius Beucher, President of the National Paralympic Committee Germany, addressed the German athletes in an emotional and highly personal speech that fired them up even more for the upcoming Paralympic Games in Rio.<\/p>\n<p>After an informal gathering with the numerous guests, athletes Marianne Buggenhagen, Jan G\u00fcrtler, Tom Kierey, Lasse Kl\u00f6tzing and Thomas Ulbricht were introduced to the audience at the Sommerkino open-air cinema.
